Thyroid Function in patients with Ischemic Heart Diseases

The effects of thyroid hormones on the cardiovascular system are most clinically useful and sensitive signs dysfunction. Regarding pathophysiology, dysfunction has essential consequences in myocardial contractility, peripheral hemodynamics, heart rate. aim: To study association serum TSH, T4, T3 levels ischemic diseases. Patients & methods a cross sectional was conducted Sallah Alddin general hospital Tikrit city – Iraq , from 1st January to 30th June 2017. Fifty patients (34 male 16 female ) have joined this age (mean 58.6 ± 15.2 years), all suffering diseases (myocardial infarction, angina, congestive failure) admitted Coronary cure unite hospital. Also, 50 control healthy subjects were participated present study, (30 males 20 subjects). Results anthropometric measurements for both females (age, weight, height BMI) show no significant differences between control, while, BMI group exhibits difference. Female lipid profile results indicate good except LDL result female. Moreover, there VLDL patients. T3, troponin them groups level differences.
